The server metrics page in WPShift provides valuable insights into your server's performance, including details on server load, disk usage, and memory (RAM) utilization. This feature is designed to help you monitor and manage your server effectively.
What are server metrics?
Server metrics give you real-time data on your server’s health and performance. By keeping track of these metrics, you can identify potential issues before they affect your WordPress sites. Metrics available on this page include:

Server load
Displays the current load on your server, helping you monitor its processing power and ensure it can handle traffic effectively. -
Disk usage
Shows how much disk space is being used and how much is available, enabling you to manage storage efficiently. -
Memory (RAM) usage
Indicates how much of your server's memory is currently in use, which is essential for maintaining fast and reliable performance.
Feature availability
The server metrics feature is available exclusively to users on the Agency Plan. Additionally, to enable metrics monitoring, you must activate the remote monitor option under Extra Software.
Enabling remote monitor
You can install remote monitor by navigating to the server’s extra software settings and selecting the option. This tool is essential for collecting and displaying server performance data on the metrics page.
How to view server metrics
- Go to the Servers tab in your WPShift dashboard.
- Select the server you want to monitor.
- Open the Server Metrics page to view real-time data on:
- Server load
- Disk usage
- Memory (RAM) usage
