Refund policy
This Refund Policy explains how subscription cancellations, refunds, and withdrawal rights work for purchases of WPShift services.
This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service. If your purchase is processed through Paddle, Paddle’s applicable buyer terms, refund policy, and mandatory law will also apply.
1. General
WPShift offers subscription services and, in some cases, usage-based or metered services such as WPShift Cloud usage, storage, backup capacity, or other resource-based services.
Because parts of the Service may be billed based on actual consumption, allocated resources, or completed service periods, refund eligibility may differ depending on the type of charge and the applicable law.
2. Subscription cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account, unless a minimum committed term was expressly agreed in writing.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or by Paddle’s applicable buyer terms, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. After cancellation becomes effective, your subscription will not renew for a new billing period.
Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for charges already incurred.
3. Paddle-processed purchases
Where your purchase, renewal, or subscription is processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as reseller or merchant of record for that transaction.
For Paddle-processed transactions:
refunds, statutory withdrawal rights, and other buyer rights are handled in accordance with Paddle’s applicable buyer terms, refund policy, and mandatory law;
approved refunds are processed through Paddle;
you should use the relevant Paddle support or order support channel for refund-related requests where applicable.
4. Statutory rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-excludable rights you may have under applicable law, including any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights that apply to consumers in certain jurisdictions.
If mandatory consumer law gives you a right to cancel, withdraw, or receive a refund, that right will apply to the extent required by law.
5. Generally non-refundable charges
Except where required by applicable law or applicable Paddle policies, the following are generally non-refundable:
charges for completed billing periods;
charges for services already provided;
charges for resources already consumed;
usage-based or metered charges already incurred;
charges for allocated or reserved infrastructure capacity for the period in which it was made available;
add-ons or service capacity already provisioned or consumed.
6. Failed provisioning or technical non-delivery
If WPShift fails to provide access to the purchased Service due to a technical issue attributable to WPShift or its billing flow, and the issue is not resolved within a reasonable time, you may contact us for review.
Where the transaction was processed through Paddle, any approved refund will be issued through Paddle in accordance with Paddle’s applicable policies and procedures.
This section does not apply to failures caused by third-party cloud providers, your own configurations, your credentials, your connected infrastructure accounts, or misuse of the Service.
7. No refund for suspension due to breach or non-payment
You are not entitled to a refund solely because your account or services were suspended, throttled, or terminated due to:
non-payment;
breach of the Terms of Service;
abuse, misuse, or prohibited activity;
provider enforcement actions;
legal or sanctions compliance actions.
8. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
For Paddle-processed transactions, Paddle may review and handle charge disputes in accordance with Paddle’s applicable procedures and buyer terms. Chargebacks based on fraud, abuse, or false non-delivery claims may result in suspension of access to the Service.
9. Taxes
Where applicable, taxes may be included in the purchase price.
If a refund is issued, any tax treatment will follow the rules and processes applicable to the payment provider or merchant of record handling the transaction, and the mandatory tax rules applicable to the purchase.
10. How to request help
If you have questions about billing, cancellation, or refunds, you can contact:

If your purchase was processed through Paddle, you may also need to use Paddle’s support or order support process for cancellation or refund handling.
